16th & 23rd October Meeting Reports
25/10/19On the 16th Stewart and Adrian led the evening demonstrating lighting setups for portraiture. Demonstrating the use of lights, reflectors and synchronised flash units. Members were then encouraged to take their own images. These will be shown at a later date.
The 23rd was SPECIAL SUBJECT— MONOCHROME.
There were 26prints and 42 pdi’s to be judged.
The judge for this evening was Barbara Jenkin, ARPS,EFIAP/dl,GMPSA,BPE2
A multi award winning member of Camborne/ Redruth CC and a well respected international judge.
Barbara gave an in depth comment on each image, focussing on the positive rather than negative. The results were

Overall a great evening with some lovely comments on our images from Barbara, who encouraged us all to attend a WCPF judging seminar even if only for the experience of seeing what judges are looking for in an image.
